Key Storylines

Kristaps Porzingis is available for today’s rematch against the Magic after being rested on Friday. When he has been healthy this season, he has provided the Celtics with elite offensive firepower along with strong defensive effort. His 2.1 defensive plus/minus is the highest in his nine year career and he has been a very impactful player when he is on the court with strong offensive and defensive ratings. Porzingis is going to give the Magic a lot of trouble on both ends of the court and Orlando’s frontcourt players may have a tough time trying to stop him offensively and getting around him defensively.

Franz Wagner had a nice streak of strong showings heading into December but has cooled off a bit since he put up three straight games of 30-plus points. He is only shooting 42.9% from the floor and 25% from behind the arc in his last six games, both of which are lower than his season averages of 45.7% FG% and 30.3% 3PT%. He has a major role for the Magic as their second highest usage player behind Paolo Banchero and fantasy managers should be confident that he can right the ship in terms of his offensive efficiency.
