    Falcons @ Ravens

    Key Storylines/What to Watch

A brutal matchup for fantasy purposes as both of these teams have shown very little offensively over the past few weeks. The Falcons have put their trust in Desmond Ridder as Marcus Mariota’s future there seems to be finished and the rookie hasn’t quite shown that he can be trusted as a fantasy starter just yet. Cordarrelle Patterson was outproduced by Tyler Algeier once again as that has occurred more times than Patterson managers would like to see. However, some of us have very little behind a running back that gets as many opportunities as Patterson does. Tyler Algeier is also an interesting start but his inconsistent volume makes him a riskier play than we would like as well. Drake London showed some life with Ridder, but with such few scoring opportunities he will be hard to trust as well, even less so in non-PPR leagues. To wrap things up with this team, you will be better off if your roster doesn’t include any Falcons.

The Ravens are like a slightly upgraded version of the Falcons in fantasy terms as their players are similar but they are players we would rather start. Tyler Huntley will make another start in place of Lamar Jackson but he is not on our radar outside of being a low-end superflex option though his running ability gives him a bit of upside. J.K. Dobbins can be a solid start as even with him not being one hundred percent, he has shown fantasy value and he appears to be getting even better. As long as he is active, there isn’t anyone else in this backfield that is worth starting. Devin Duvernay is done for the fantasy season, making Demarcus Robinson a WR3 option that will be hard to trust. Mark Andrews should still be started but his recent disappointments make things difficult. We just hope this is the week he gets back on track.

    Top Starts

WR Drake London: London is the receiving option Ridder appears to be comfortable throwing to and with the Ravens giving up points to wide receivers, London can be a good low-ceiling PPR option with the hope he finds the endzone.

RB J.K. Dobbins: Dobbins has been valuable since he has returned and even said that he isn’t fully healthy. The Ravens will need to run and with the way Gus Edwards and Kenyan Drake have been running, they will need Dobbins to be the guy.

TE Mark Andrews: Andrews has less than 10 PPR fantasy points in his last three games but with Devin Duvernay out for the year, that’s one less option which makes Andrews even more valuable for a team that needs all the help they can get.

    Boom/Bust Dart-Throws

QB Desmond Ridder: While Ridder hasn’t quite shown that he’s capable of being an weekly starter, this could be his one big week this season taking on the 20th ranked fantasy defense against quarterbacks and with the running variable to his game, all he needs is one play.

WR Demarcus Robinson: With both Rashod Batemon and now Devin Duvernay out for the year, the only other option worth mentioning for the Ravens at receiver is Robinson. He has been the top target at times this season and will need to step up if the Ravens want to try and win the division.
