The Raptors and Hornets will meet for the second time this season. Toronto won the first meeting 125-113. The Hornets may have been a little uninspired for the first meeting due to Fred VanVleet and Scottie Barnes being ruled out prior to tip-off. The Hornets are on a 4 game losing streak and might have hit rock bottom after a 104-86 loss to Miami in their most recent game. The Hornets only managed to score a total of 8 points in the third quarter against Miami and should be looking to put together a much better full game performance after losing two straight at home. The Hornets are 9-3 ATS as a home underdog this season and 15-10 ATS after a loss. They are also 21-12 ATS against eastern conference opponents. I think the Hornets have something to prove in this game and I will back them in this hypothetically motivated spot.
