Welcome to the DFS Delivery article, the last article for 2021!
Wish you a happy new year and wish you all the best!
Tonight we have 7 games on the main slate (at the moment at least), but things are so fluid at the moment, especially with the later games, that being on top of the news is crucial, so keep your phones close during the new years party!
Let’s check out my favorite picks at the moment.
Player Tiers
Expensive Tier
Jimmy Butler ($10,000) – Butler is again questionable but he looks like he is going to play for tonight and I really like him against a Houston team, that ranks in the bottom 10 of fantasy points allowed at the SF position. He has been doing everything on the floor in the last 2 games back from his injury and I really think that he will tear this Houston team apart if he is a go tonight.
Ja Morant ($9,600) – Morant is averaging over 25 PPG in the 5 games he’s played since returning from injury, and tonight he is facing the Spurs, who rank 26th against point guards in fantasy. Morant is at his best when he’s able to attack the rim and this matchup is one of the best in this regard since the Spurs do not have anyone of note to protect the rim.
Mid-Tier
Marcus Morris Sr. ($6,300) – In his two games back from injury, Morris has back-to-back 40+ DK points games. He should continue to see his production increase as the Clippers keep losing players and there is more usage for him to soak up. He is just mispriced for his current role.
Omer Yurtseven ($5,800) – The Rockets are always a great matchup for any position due to their high pace and bad defense and with Yurtseven so capable at rebounding and getting second-chance opportunities, the path is there for him to have a great game. He has posted 12+ rebounds in 6 straight games, and the streak can easily continue tonight.
Value
Mitchell Robinson ($4,900) – Julius Randle has been placed in Covid protocols, Nerlens Noel is still out, so Robinson seems to be the one that would carry the load in the post for the Knicks. Robinson has started the last few games for the Knicks but has had ups and downs in those starts, the fact that he is almost assured 30+ minutes of game time makes him a very interesting lower-cost option. Let’s hope Thibs will have the same thoughts as me!
Jalen Green ($4,900) – Green, who was one of the most inefficient players in the league through the first 20-25 games, has been shooting 50% from the field and going 10-18 from 3 in his last two games. Green’s price is a bit too low for someone who is going to play close to 30 minutes and is around a fantasy point per minute performer.
Honorable Mentions: Damian Lillard ($10,900), Tyler Herro ($7,200), Nassir Little ($5,400), Malik Monk ($4,500), Frank Ntilikina ($3,200).
