Hot, cold, hot, cold! That’s how free play has been going for us lately. Dan was our last hot capper though, and he’s up again!

San Antonio Spurs +4: This is a rough one to lay down. Maybe we call it one of my ‘vomit in your mouth’ type wagers, but I still pretty firmly believe we’re getting huge value by fading the Hawks on the road and backing them at home. You might be able to drop Portland into that same bucket, though they’re playing the Kings tonight so we’ll just dodge that stuff. Here, the Hawks are 8-1 at home and 1-8 on the road, and the 5-game win streak has all been on their own court. I wouldn’t be surprised if Atlanta won this game, but laying 4 on the road is a lot for a team that just hasn’t looked good there, yet. Spurs have lost some tight ones, too, and they have a few bodies that they can throw at Trae. But more than anything, this is a strict fade on Atlanta’s road chemistry.
