Joel Embiid poured in 30 points in Game 3 vs. the Celtics on Friday, adding 13 rebounds, one block and one steal in the 102-94 defeat.

The Celtics now lead the first round series three games to none, despite the valiant effort by Embiid and the Sixers in Game 3. They simply have not looked the same without Ben Simmons (nerve impingement) and are now in grave danger of being swept out of the playoffs. Embiid carried the load offensively (7-of-20 FG, 2-of-5 3PT) but it was not enough. Game 4 is on Sunday.
