Edmond SumnerPG, Indiana PacersEdmond Sumer led the bench on Wednesday with 17 points (6-of-11), four rebounds, four assists, one block, two treys and one turnover in 25 minutes.
Sumner and Doug McDermott were the two bench players to score in double-figures in the contest as McDermott shot the ball very well, going 6-of-7 on his way to 16 points, two rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, one turnover and three 3-pointers. McDermott was a perfect 3-of-3 from long range and is turning into one of the more underrated 3-point shooters in the league. Sumner continues to operate as an athletic guard off the bench but probably saw some additional minutes with Malcolm Brogdon (neck) sidelined. The Pacers will finish their 2019-20 season on Friday against the Heat.
