Patrick Beverley will not suit up against the Mavs on Thursday after suffering a left calf injury during Tuesday's loss to the Suns.

This was expected as Doc Rivers told the media that the team was going to take a very cautious approach with their defensive stalwart. This makes perfect sense as the Clippers are focused on winning their first NBA championship in team history and want to have a healthy roster heading into September. Reggie Jackson and Lou Williams are the names to consider with Beverley ruled out.
His next chance to take the floor will come on Saturday vs. the Blazers.
