J.J. Barea started for the Mavs on Tuesday but finished with just one point, one rebound, one assist and one steal in 14 minutes.

Barea was a late inclusion in the starting lineup after it was initially announced that Trey Burke would start. Unfortunately, that is where the good news ended for Barea as he struggled mightily in the victory. He provides a leadership role for the Mavs but typically provides very little in terms of production. At best, he should be viewed as an assist streaming option and even that is a risky call.
