Ja Morant put up 17 points with nine assists on 7-of-15 shooting in a loss to the Rockets on Sunday.

Morant played much better in this game than he did in the first scrimmage, but he 3-point shot was still not falling as he made just one of three attempts. He added three steals and one block to the box score as well. Morant will have to continue leading the offense if the Grizzlies want to hold their spot as the eighth seed.
