Kyle Anderson drew the start on Friday vs. the Sixers, dropping 14 points, four 3-pointers (4-of-5 shooting), eight rebounds, one steal and one block in a strong outing.

With Jae Crowder no longer in Memphis, there is some new opportunity available. Justise Winslow (hip) recently went down and is no longer a threat to be active, and Anderson has a great opportunity to seize the starting slot if he can perform well. Playing well has been a challenge for Anderson who has struggled since joining the Grizzlies last year. If he were suddenly to have a strong 3-ball at his disposal this would be a completely different conversation. Just keep an eye on Anderson's success as a starter for now.
