• Chris Boucher
    PF, Toronto Raptors

Chris Boucher got rotation minutes for the first time in his career in 2019-20 and turned 13.2 mpg into top-260/225 (8/9-cat) value.

Boucher was coming off a year in which he was named both G League MVP and Defensive Player of the Year, and he carried that momentum over to the NBA level with a breakthrough season. In his limited playing time he averaged 6.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.4 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.5 triples. He still lacks the strength necessary to hang with the league's bigger bodies down low and it's put him in a tweener PF/C role, but his length and energy result in plenty of rebounds, blocks and deflections. Some more refinement as a team defender could make him a serious weapon, and fewer instances of block-chasing would also help him stay on the floor. Boucher's stat set is gold and he's someone to know in case he ever comes into a larger role.
