    Jordan McLaughlin
    PG, Minnesota Timberwolves

Rookie point guard Jordan McLaughlin, who went undrafted in 2018 after four years at USC and spent all of last season in the G League, produced in an unexpected fashion for the Wolves in 2019-20.

He is on a two-way contract and spent plenty of time in the G League with the Iowa Wolves this season as well (last season he was with the Long Island Nets). Overall, McLaughlin got in to 30 games for the Wolves and finished the year ranked 176th in 9-cat and 185th in 8-cat, good for third and fourth on the Wolves, respectively. He still finds himself on his original two-way deal but that figures to change, as he went on a particularly solid run to close out the year. Over the final two months (11 games), McLaughlin shot 54 percent from the floor and put up 9.3 PPG, 4.7 APG, 1.5 RPG and 1.2 SPG in 20.8 MPG. He should find his way back on to the Wolves roster in a backup role in 2020-21, on an NBA contract this time, one way or another.
