Celtics' President of Basketball Operations, Danny Ainge, is hopeful that the team will be able to return to its practice facilities next week.

Ainge's comments extended the timeline to a degree, as he was hoping for Monday or later in the week. Also on Thursday, Brad Stevens indicated that the team was aiming to return on Monday. Either way, the Celtics are getting closer to resuming limited workouts, but Massachusetts has been one of the more cautious states when assessing the COVID-19 situation. The situation will be a slow progression of baby steps.
