LeBron JamesSF, Los Angeles LakersShams Charania reports that the NBA and the players union are planning to enter an agreement on a moratorium during the league's COVID-19 hiatus.
The moratorium would last from March 12 to April 10 before being re-assessed. That would put a freeze on trades, signings, contract options and 10-day contracts. It's a sensible agreement, especially helping the players who are currently on 10-day deals. When the league does return, things should pick back up right where they started — from this perspective, at least.
