In a media availability on Saturday, Kyrie Irving revealed that he can't lift his shoulder and has been getting cortisone shots in hopes of avoiding surgery.

Any procedure would likely be season-ending, so Irving is trying to exhaust all other avenues before going down that path. The fact that Irving can't life his shoulder to shoot is a major update, and it doesn't sound like we'll see him anytime soon.
