The Bucks have clinched a top-six finish to the regular season in the Eastern Conference and sit in second place, albeit a little uncomfortably. A win by the Magic today means that they will keep their fifth-place seeding. A loss on the other hand along with wins by both the 76ers and the Pacers would drop them down to the seventh seed and they would end up in the play-in tournament.

However, a win against the Pacers would mean that the Pacers would fall to the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference. Even if the Heat win, the Pacers have the regular season record advantage over the Heat for that seventh spot. This would mean there will likely be a re-match in the first round of the play-in tournament between these two teams if the Hawks win in this one.
