    Key Storylines

The 76ers are currently second in the Eastern Conference rankings after only losing two games in their past 10 games with strong play from Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris. Maxey and Embiid are having incredible seasons but Harris will need to continue stepping up his scoring and rebounding with Kelly Oubre sidelined due to a hit-and-run accident. His usage rate has increased slightly up to 21.1% from his season average of 19.8% and he is averaging around four more shots per game but his percentages have stayed relatively stable. He has a relatively safe floor and has been providing fifth round value over the past couple of weeks.

The Nets have been struggling with their own injuries as of late, with both Cameron Thomas and Ben Simmons ruled out for at least the next week. They have been holding onto the 10th seed in the conference rankings but there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Cameron Johnson has returned and has been solid over the past week as he ramps back up. Nicolas Claxton is back as well from a short stint on the sidelines and even though he is a core part of the starting rotation, he is still splitting time with Day’Ron Sharpe. Embiid is as tough of a matchup in the front court as any, so the Nets’ success today will be contingent on their bigs staying out of foul trouble.
