• Dallas Mavericks @ Indiana Pacers

    Injury Report

Mavs: OUT: Dwight Powell (right Achilles tendon rupture), Luka Doncic (right ankle sprain), Seth Curry (right knee tightness).

    Pacers: OUT: T.J. Warren (concussion).

    DFS Picks

    Mavs

Kristaps Porzingis – Porzingis sat out of the last for rest purposes and should be ready to go with a full compliment of minutes against the Pacers. He’s going to get a massive increase in usage with Doncic out, but his price tag is still where it was as though he was playing. It’s not an easy matchup, but I am willing to take shots on him at this price.

J.J. Barea – Barea may not start, but he’s going to see solid run and is the cheapest amongst these Mavs’ guards. I don’t mind spending the extra money on Delon Wright either as both guards will see solid run with Seth Curry and Doncic both out.

    Pacers

Justin Holiday – With T.J. Warren dealing with a concussion we should see solid extra run for Holiday. He’s cheap and solid value option who we’ve seen rack up defensive stats quickly.

Golden State Warriors @ Washington Wizards

    Injury Report

Warriors: QUESTIONABLE: D’Angelo Russell (right quadriceps strain); OUT: Stephen Curry (left hand fracture), Klay Thompson (left ACL rehab), Kevon Looney (left abdominal soreness).

Wizards: QUESTIONABLE: Davis Bertans (neck tightness); OUT: John Wall (left Achilles rehab), Matthew Garrison (right ankle sprain), Jordan McRae (sprained right ankle).

    DFS Picks

    Warriors

This is a fantastic matchup for the Warriors and if D’Angelo Russell is forced to sit the starters will all see a sizeable increase in usage. My primary focus would be on Alec Burks and Draymond Green with Russell out and I would make sure I sprinkle in some Ky Bowman for value if he starts.

    Wizards

It’s a good spot for the Wizards, but they are all priced right and the frontcourt is starting to get back to full health.

New York Knicks @ Cleveland Cavaliers

    Injury Report

Knicks: PROBABLE: Frank Ntilikina (sore groin), Julius Randle (right quadricep contusion), Mitchell Robinson (bilateral hamstring soreness); OUT: RJ Barrett (right ankle sprain).

Cavs: QUESTIONABLE: Brandon Knight (left knee soreness); OUT: Dylan Windler (left leg stress reaction), Ante Zizic (illness).

    DFS Picks

    Knicks

Elfrid Payton – Payton is back from his suspension and he gets one of the best matchups on paper a point guard can have. The price is right, but he still has enough upside to pay it off an then some in this matchup.

    Cavs

I’d only be willing to take shots on Kevin Love in multi-entry GPP’s and even then he’s not a primary focus of mine. He should be line for big minutes against the Knicks and is still slightly underpriced.

    Orlando Magic @ Charlotte Hornets

    Injury Report

Magic: QUESTIONABLE: Evan Fournier (lower back pain); OUT: Al-Farouq Aminu (torn right meniscus), D.J. Augustin (left knee bone irritation), Jonathan Isaac (left knee bone contusion).

Hornets: DOUBTFUL: P.J. Washington (right ankle sprain).

    DFS Picks

    Magic

Michael Carter-Williams – I’ll be looking at MCW if Evan Fournier is unable to go. He played in the last one, but he’s being considered a GTD coming into tonight. MCW will see a fair amount of time backing up Fults, but he has a solid chance to start alongside of him as well.

    Hornets

I won’t be getting to many Hornets tonight. We have other games we could target with higher totals and the Magic’s defense has been rock solid all season long.

    Boston Celtics @ Atlanta Hawks

    Injury Report

Celtics: OUT: Robert Williams (left hip soreness), Marcus Smart (right thigh contusion), Kemba Walker (left knee soreness).

Hawks: DOUBTFUL: DeAndre’ Bembry (right hand neuritis); QUESTIONABLE: Trae Young (right ankle sprain), Bruno Fernando (left calf strain), De’Andre Hunter (left ankle sprain); OUT: Chandler Parsons (concussion), Jabari Parker (right shoulder impingement), Alex Len (right hip flexor strain), Cam Reddish (concussion).

    DFS Picks

    Celtics

Brad Wanamaker – Kemba Walker has already been ruled out and Marcus Smart is being considered doubtful. Wanamaker will likely draw the start and be one of the chalkier value plays of the night. It’s a fantastic spot for him whether Trae Young plays or not and I have no issues going with him, but there is always an edge in tournaments when pivoting off of chalk plays.

Jayson Tatum – I expect Tatum to see his minutes back to where they were for most of the season and with Irving out he’ll get a nice uptick in usage. I prefer him over Brown and Hayward slightly, but this is a fantastic spot for all three and they are all in my player pool.

    Hawks

John Collins – Collins was on his way to breaking the slate before getting hurt in this matchup earlier in the year. The Celtics continue to struggle against athletic bigs and if Young is forced to sit out it would only raise his ceiling.

Jeff Teague – We have some much value available tonight and Teague would be another primo option if Trae Young is forced to sit out. It also helps that he won’t have to worry about Marcus Smart’s defense with him being doubtful.

    Philadelphia 76ers @ Miami Heat

    Injury Report

76ers: QUESTIONABLE: Trey Burke (illness); OUT: Josh Richardson (left hamstring strain).

Heat: OUT: Justise Winslow (lower back strain).

    DFS Picks

    Sixers

It’s a tough matchup and I won’t have much here. Joel Embiid is slightly underpriced and would be my top option on the Sixers. My second-tier option is Tobias Harris, but he is better suited for tournaments.

    Heat

Kelly Olynyk – I won’t be going with many starters here in a tough defensive matchup and at full price. Olynyk comes in as a solid value option who won’t have much ownership. I expect him to get solid minutes considering the Sixers like to play big with Horford and Embiid.

    Phoenix Suns @ Brooklyn Nets

    Injury Report

Suns: PROBABLE: Ricky Rubio (right ankle soreness); OUT: Cameron Johnson (right quad contusion), Frank Kaminsky (right patella stress fracture), Aron Baynes (left hip soreness), Dario Saric (left ankle sprain), Ty Jerome (left calf soreness), Tyler Johnson (right knee soreness).

Nets: OUT: Kevin Durant (right Achilles rehab), Kyrie Irving (right knee sprain).

    DFS Picks

    Suns

Deandre Ayton – Ayton will be one of my top center options on the slate. The Nets are the tastiest matchup a center can get and Ayton is slightly underpriced in this matchup. With Dario Saric out we should continue to see the Suns role out a smaller lineup giving Ayton a little more rebounding upside. I have no issues going with Booker too, but Ayton would be my first choice.

    Nets

Spencer Dinwiddie – He’s priced up with Irving out, but he’s still a little too cheap and I’ll have some interest in him in this spot.

    Detroit Pistons @ Memphis Grizzlies

    Injury Report

Pistons: QUESTIONABLE: Markieff Morris (right hip strain), Reggie Jackson (left lumbar spine stress reaction); OUT: Derrick Rose (left hip adductor strain), Khyri Thomas (right foot surgery), Luke Kennard (bilateral knee soreness), Blake Griffin (left knee soreness).

Grizzlies: OUT: Andre Iguodala (not with team), Grayson Allen (right hip soreness), Bruno Caboclo (left knee soreness).

    DFS Picks

    Pistons

Bruce Brown – Take your pick with the value tonight. Derrick Rose has already been ruled out and with Reggie Jackson being questionable Brown could be in store for another heavy workload.

Andre Drummond – Drummond is always in play and nothing changes about that tonight. I prefer spending down on Ayton, but in lineups I lean more on Booker I’ll take shots with Drummond as the pivot.

    Grizzlies

It’s not that I don’t like some Grizzlies in this spot, I just like other options in better matchups a little bit more. Ja Morant and Jonas Valanciunas would be my top options if looking to go here.

    Minnesota Timberwolves @ Sacramento Kings

    Injury Report

Wolves: DOUBTFUL: Allen Crabbe (left patella subluxation); OUT: Jake Layman (left toe sprain).

Kings: DOUBTFUL: Richaun Holmes (right shoulder soreness); OUT: Marvin Bagley III (left foot soreness).

    DFS Picks

    Timberwolves

Andrew Wiggins – I prefer Wiggins over KAT in this spot from a point per dollar standpoint. Both are great options, but this spot feels like a Wiggins ceiling game. He’s averaging 52 DK points against the Kings this season and the Kings are bleed points to opposing shooting guards.

    Kings

Dewayne Dedmon – Dedmon was sick over the weekend, but he’s no longer listed on the injury report for Monday’s game. He should see solid minutes against Towns it seems unlikely that Richaun Holmes will be ready for tonight’s game.

San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Clippers

    Injury Report

    Spurs: None.

    Clippers: None.

    DFS Picks

    Spurs

Not playing any Spurs in this spot against the Clippers.

    Clippers

Paul George – My primary focus in this game would be on an underpriced Paul George. He’s still underpriced as he’s working his way back from an injury, but he’s still one the league’s best point per minute producers and could easily pay that price off in limited minutes.
