Both teams like to play fast as seen by Cornell ranking #1 in Pace and Syracuse #54. However, when you dig a little deeper deeper into Cornell’s schedule you realize they’ve only played three teams ranked inside the Top 153. Losing two of them, and averaged 70.1 PPG in those games. Syracuse will pose a much greater challenge and playing in the Carrier Dome is never easy. Cuse has played a much tougher schedule and have tightened up their defence recently giving up just 67 PPG in their last four. I’m in agreement with a large spread and think Syracuse should be able to win easy, so I don’t think there will be a lot of late game buckets and I’m on the Under.
