This will be the third matchup between these two teams this season with the first going under 219 and the second going over 225. The Thunder will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander while the Kings may still be without De’Aaron Fox. I’m not sure I can trust the Thunder to score without SGA. Without Shai in the lineup the Thunder will have to rely on their defense and they actually rank 11th in points allowed, 10th in opponent 3pt%, and 1st in defensive rebounds. This is a good spot for this younger Thunder team to play engaged defensively as they are currently riding a 3 game winning streak. The Thunder are 20-30-1 to the over this season, 4-6 in their last 10, 10-16 away from home, and 19-29-1 as the underdog. The Kings are 26-28 to the over this season, 14-15 at home, and 7-10 as a favourite. This is the lowest total set between these two teams in their last 5 meetings. I believe at least one, if not both, of these teams will have trouble reaching 100 points tonight and I like this game to go under the total.
