It finally happened. The Kings fired their head coach Luke Walton and this move was long overdue. Even with a talented roster the Kings have been struggling for the past two season and most of the blame can be put on the poor coaching of Walton. There were many questions and concerns on whether Kings players had become unmotivated to play for their former coach. Now that Luke Walton is gone the Kings should have a boost of energy and play much more freely for their first game of this new era. The 76ers find themselves in their 5th straight game away from home and could be primed for a letdown as they look ahead to their final road game in Golden State on Wednesday. I believe we see a boost in morale for the Kings and a glimpse of the potential of this talented roster shines tonight in Sacramento. My play is Sacramento Kings -2.5 (-106) for 1.06 units.
