Wake Forest v Old Dominion, 7:00pm EDT

Wake Forest Team Total over 47

Wake Forest’s offense is ranked 9th in the nation right behind North Carolina by Phil Steele and is expected to put up 40 points per game (that’s against ACC competition).   Old Dominion is projected to give up 38 points per game which is on par with a team like Akron. Wake Forest’s quarterback is Sam Hartman, redshirt sophomore who threw for 13 touchdowns, 5 interceptions (4 in the bowl game), 2224 yards, and a 58% completion percentage in 9 games. The offense has a total of 9 starters back from last year; compared to a year ago when they had 2 starters back from the previous year when they put up 36 points per game. Bottom line: Wake’ offense is going to get better and should easily eclipse the point total against one of the worst defenses in the FBS.
