It used to be that rookies needed preheat for at least half a season if not an entire one before they became fantasy relevant, but now they hit the ground running and if you aren’t early, you aren’t going to be invited to the party at all.  The fact that Malik Nabers is fifth on this list despite looking like a future superstar demonstrates how dominant and explosive the rookie fantasy studs were this season.

Just because a rookie was a dud doesn’t mean he won’t pop later, but value is value and it’s exponentially better to be on the stud list than the dud list.  The cream at the crop is truly elite, but it could still fluctuate in the off season if certain roster changes are made.  If Nabers gets a QB, he could jump all the way to first and if not, he’s proven he’s essentially QB proof. Dynasty never sleeps and if you are lucky enough to have any of these top-five, pat yourself on the back and enjoy the ride.
