Embiid in, Melton out – Emiid’s return puts an end to the 12-team relevancy of Paul Reed, who had given managers solid streaming value over the course of Embiid’s four-game absence. But when the fantasy gods close one streaming window, another one opens up. This time, De’Anthony Melton will be missing this game, and someone like Marcus Morris, who started the last time Melton was out, will have 12-team value in this one. Two nights ago, he scored 14 points, grabbed five boards, hit two triples and got a couple of defensive stats. With Robert Covington also out, Morris should get good burn tonight.
Can they pull it off again? – The Bulls have won the first two games of the season series against one of the best teams in the East. This game is the second half of a home-and-home series between the two squads. The Sixers were without Embiid in Saturday’s game but let an Embiid 40-point double-double go to waste in their first loss to the Bulls on the 18th. However, the Bulls are now going to have to play the Sixers with Embiid and without their starting big man, Nikola Vucevic. Andre Drummond has been a nice add for fantasy managers with Vucevic out, getting mid-to-late round value due to his elite rebounding ability, solid defensive stats and efficient scoring.
