Ian Begley of SNY is reporting that the Knicks have taken calls on Bobby Portis.
Portis inked a two-year, $15 million deal with the Knicks this past summer but that second season isn't fully guaranteed. Begley also adds that the Warriors have spoken with the Knicks, though we don't know what they discussed — only that Golden State is looking to trim its future tax bill. A move out of New York may help Portis reestablish his fantasy relevance. It might be a lateral move, but at least he'd have a shot at getting back into the top-150 on another team.
