Shams Charania is reporting that the Rockets have discussed Clint Capela trades with the Hawks and Kings.

The Hawks have already been linked to Capela, which makes sense given their links to every other available center this season. The Kings are a more interesting name, as while they were linked to Capela as far back as last year, they also have stumbled upon a cheaper, possibly more effective alternative in Richaun Holmes. The Rockets must feel that they can flip Capela for wing depth and then turn around and acquire a rim protector as well, as they've shown an odd willingness to move Capela since he emerged as a core member of the roster.
