ESPN's Zach Lowe writes that teams who have inquired about JJ Redick have been "shooed away."

The Pelicans are on the fringes of the playoff chase but obviously have a bright future ahead of them and are a popular pick as a team that could really find the gas pedal in the second half of the season. While trading Redick wouldn't alter their long-term plans, it would likely have a big effect on what they're able to accomplish this season. If the Pels acquiesce, it might be best for Redick's fantasy value, as he's just a late-round option despite going .464 from deep because of fewer opportunities in years past thanks to New Orleans' deep backcourt mix.
