February 3, 2020, 12:48 pmKyle KuzmaPF, Los Angeles Lakers
Zach Lowe is reporting that the Lakers have investigated the trade market for Kyle Kuzma and have poked around for a ball-handler.
This makes total sense, especially when you consider that Kuzma and Bogdan Bogdanovic were linked in earlier rumors. Kuzma's still young enough, and has shown well enough in larger opportunities, that the Lakers may be able to fill a few needs here. More importantly, their hunt for a ball-handler might suggest they realize how bad Rajon Rondo is now. But as for the task at hand, a trade would revive Kuzma's fantasy season and put him on the map as a top-125 type if he ends up in a spot where minutes and usage are abundant. He's predictably fallen off as a miscast third fiddle on these Lakers.
