The Grizzlies are asking for a first-round pick in potential Jae Crowder trades, per Zach Lowe.
They're probably not going to get one. Crowder built up a big 3-and-D reputation from his Boston days but he's only been above 34 percent from deep once in his career — that breakout season where he shot .398. This season he's been hitting his triples at 29.7 percent, and while a contender could benefit from his defense and toughness, they are unlikely to be willing to meet this asking price. Crowder's been a late-round fantasy option in 9-cat as a starter for the Grizzlies, and a trade figures to eliminate a big chunk of his fantasy appeal.
