Zach Lowe reports that while the Pistons haven't given up on trading Andre Drummond, they should not expect a return commensurate with what they were hoping for.

The Pistons might've fooled themselves into expecting a big return here, as most teams simply can't afford to incorporate Drummond's massive salary without sending bad money back Detroit's way. There's also the issue of Drummond's play — he's a fantasy superstar but has limited impact on the actual court. A trade still seems likely since the Pistons will almost surely lose him for nothing this summer, but it's not the slam-dunk call it once was.
