The Thunder have officially acquired Vincent Poirier from the Celtics.
OKC sent a protected 2021 second-rounder back to Boston in the deal. Buried on Boston's depth chart, Poirier was open about his desire to actually play next season, and he should have the chance to do just that for a rebuilding Thunder squad. He'll need to contend with at least Al Horford and Mike Muscala, with Steven Adams the biggest roadblock for as long as he remains on the roster. Nerlens Noel is also in the mix as well but could head elsewhere as a free agent. Poirier is unlikely to make an impact in fantasy but GMs in extremely deep leagues should at least be familiar with his name.
