Isaiah Hartenstein

The Rockets intend to waive Isaiah Hartenstein in the wake of their agreement with David Nwaba on Tuesday.

Hartenstein had filled in for an injured Clint Capela at times for the Rockets this season but the team traded Capela at the deadline and committed to its center-less lineup full time. In only 23 games played as a reserve this year, he averaged 4.7 PTS and 3.9 REB in 11.6 minutes per game. This is nothing more than a roster move out of necessity; however, Hartenstein is likely to receive another NBA opportunity at some point in the future.
