Jontay PorterC, Memphis GrizzliesThe Grizzlies have announced the signing of Jontay Porter.
It's believed to be a three-year deal for Porter, who spent all of last season recovering and rehabbing from a knee injury he suffered prior to the 2018-19 season. Porter's a bouncy big man who averaged 1.7 blocks in 24.5 mpg in his freshman season at Missouri, so if he's healthy he'll offer the Grizzlies a very different dynamic than Jonas Valanciunas. Porter could hold specialist value in deeper formats if he ends up cracking the rotation.
