Will BartonSG, Denver NuggetsWhen asked about Will Barton's (left knee soreness) status moving forward, head coach Michael Malone told the media that he did not have an update for a return and added "I would love to get him back, even if he's not able to play…"
Barton remains in Miami while rehabbing from a knee injury that has kept him out for the duration of the NBA restart and Malone added that he is "working his butt off in Miami." Very few, if anybody, thought that the Nuggets would make it this far in the playoffs and it would add a boost if Barton was able to return. However, with all of the reports that we have currently, it seems like a long-shot for a return to the court in 2020. It is a situation worth keeping an eye on as we should learn more in the coming weeks.
