Marc GasolC, Toronto RaptorsHead coach Nick Nurse told the media that Marc Gasol's recent hamstring injury is "not nearly as serious as last time".
Gasol has already been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Cavs with tightness in his left hamstring but this report is encouraging for those who have Gasol on their fantasy rosters. When Gasol injured his hamstring in the middle of December, he missed 12 games and nearly a month of action. This report leads us to believe that Gasol will not miss nearly as many games as he did earlier in the season. Serge Ibaka will have an increase in value for as long as Gasol remains sidelined while Chris Boucher could also see additional opportunity.
