LaMarcus Aldridge underwent shoulder surgery in late April that will end his 2019-20 season.
Just yesterday it was reported that the Spurs were expecting a clean bill of health for the season restart, but apparently they didn't divulge that Aldridge received arthroscopic subacromial decompression and a rotator cuff debridement on his right shoulder back on April 24. A sore right shoulder cost him six games in March but he was able to play in the final game before the season was suspended. LMA's fantasy season ends with top-40/25 (8/9-cat) value. For anyone playing fantasy games when the season resumes, look for more Trey Lyles and Jakob Poeltl up front, with the possibility that the Spurs lean more heavily on multi-guard, small-ball lineups. It's a significant blow to San Antonio's playoff hopes.
