Frank Vogel said on Wednesday that he's hopeful to have Rajon Rondo (back spasms) not only available for Friday's Game 1, but also in the rotation.
The Lakers offense hasn't been overwhelming, even in a first-round series against a Portland team that bled points. The team's lack of guard and wing depth has really stuck out as a sore spot throughout the bubble, and while Rondo might theoretically help, he's also not going to help the team's flaky outside shooting. His return might impact the minutes of Alex Caruso, which would be a mistake, but we'll see how it all plays out.
