The Mavs have announced that Kristaps Porzingis has undergone right knee surgery.

The procedure was to address the lateral meniscus tear Porzingis suffered in his right knee. He initially hit the sidelines for right knee soreness back on August 23. There is currently no timetable for his return, so KP's health will once again be an offseason storyline to track. He managed to avoid serious load management last year despite coming off an ACL tear, missing only games in back-to-back situations, but Dallas may play it more carefully going forward as the injuries stack up.
