Joel Embiid will have surgery on Friday to address a torn ligament in his left hand and will be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks.

This is unfortunate news for the All-Star and it also illustrates his toughness for being able to play through the injury on Tuesday. Al Horford, Kyle O'Quinn and Mike Scott could all see their values increase for as long as Embiid remains out.
