Joel Embiid (calf) has been ruled out of Tuesday's scrimmage against the Mavericks, reports Derek Bodner of The Athletic.

Embiid will miss his second straight game due to the right calf injury, placing some doubt over his availability heading back into the season proper. He is certainly not a stranger when it comes to injuries and the Sixers are not going to take any risks with their franchise center. He should be considered questionable for their season resumption until we hear any further news.
