JaVale McGeeC, Los Angeles LakersJaVale McGee (sore left ankle) has been cleared to play against the Rockets on Tuesday after his MRI results came back negative.
McGee has been given the green light to take his place in the lineup for Game 3 after injuring his ankle on Sunday. While this is good news for the Lakers, his role figures to be minimal based on what we have seen thus far during the series. The Rockets rarely play a traditional center and that typically results in Anthony Davis shifting over to fill the middle. McGee is likely to remain the starting center but his playing time will not reflect that of a starting role.
