Eric GordonSG, Houston RocketsWhile Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni told reporters Eric Gordon (left ankle) would only be out 'a few days,' sources have told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that early estimates on Gordon's return are more likely around 1-2 weeks.
D'Antoni's optimism is a good sign, but if Gordon is forced to miss a couple of weeks, it could mean he misses a good chunk of the Rockets' seeding games. The X-ray on Gordon's ankle reportedly came back negative, for what it's worth, but Gordon looked to be in a decent amount of pain when he sustained the injury.
