Dwight Powell underwent surgery to repair the rupture of his right Achilles tendon and there is no timetable for his return.

Powell will miss the rest of the 2019-20 season, and he is very likely to miss the 2020-21 season as well. It's a devastating blow for the big man who was starting to find his groove over the past few weeks. The Mavs will move forward with Maxi Kleber, Boban Marjanovic and recent acquisition Willie Cauley-Stein.
