Although Blake Griffin won't be participating in the Pistons' upcoming mini-camp, Dwane Casey said that the star forward is 100% recovered from knee surgery.
Griffin will be working out in LA instead of joining the Pistons for their in-market bubble, which is something the coach has no problems with. It was a disappointing season to be sure, as Griffin's injuries completely wiped out Detroit's faint playoff hopes, but a healthy Griffin does give them a shot at a playoff berth in the East. He'll be one of the more volatile and risky names on draft boards heading into next season, but it's possible that everyone is so scared about the negatives that he ends up being a decent value. We'll see how it all unfolds.
