In a story from The Athletic, it's reported that the Jazz are concerned about the relationship between Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.
Gobert was infamously the NBA's patient zero for COVID-19, and his cavalier attitude toward the league's distancing policies prior to his positive test has not helped his public image at all. Mitchell was the only other member of the Jazz to test positive, and he has been open about being frustrated with the role Gobert played in the saga. While Jazz officials have worked to remind Mitchell that it's unknown whether Gobert gave it to him or vice versa, one anonymous source was quoted as saying their relationship "doesn't appear salvageable." That's being credited to a reluctance on Mitchell's part, and when basketball does resume this will be the biggest question that Utah has to answer.
