Davis BertansF, Washington WizardsDavis Bertans will not play in the NBA's restarted regular season in Orlando, per ESPN.
Bertans has two ACL injuries in his history and is already sitting on a big free agent contract after an outstanding campaign in Washington, so for him there is simply too much at stake considering the Wizards' minuscule chances of getting into the playoffs. Bertans surpassed all expectations this year, finishing with top 75/65 per-game value in 8/9-cat formats on the back of career-highs in points (15.4), rebounds (4.5), blocks (0.6) and threes (3.4). The Latvian sharpshooter set personal bests in every counting stat and the Wizards are supporting his choice and hope to re-sign him this summer. Expect more players to follow in Bertans' footsteps in the coming days.
