The Celtics, who have reportedly been trying to package their three first-round picks to move up into the lottery, may re-route that higher pick to the Pelicans in a potential Jrue Holiday trade.

The Celtics are going all-in on getting over the hump with their current core, though acquiring Holiday would require one big salary to head back to New Orleans. Holiday's been connected to the Hawks and Nuggets as well, and the Pelicans aren't set on dealing him — it sounds like they'll need to be blown away in order to pull the trigger on a trade. Holiday should be a relatively safe fantasy play no matter what, but as the bidding war heats up the odds of him beginning next season in New Orleans appear to be shrinking.
