Jayson TatumSF, Boston CelticsJayson Tatum scored a game-high 29 points (9-of-23 FG, 7-of-10 FT) and added 12 rebounds as the Celtics edged out the Raptors on Friday to move on to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Tatum also hit a team-high four triples, to go a long with his seven assists, one steal and one block for an overall well-rounded performance. He, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart spearheaded the Celtics' effort on both ends, allowing them to emerge victorious in what could only be described as a hard-fought and tightly contested series. Don't look now, but while it's still a work in progress, Tatum is slowly getting ready to carry his team as the new face of the Celtics franchise moving forward.
