James HardenPG, Houston RocketsJames Harden kept his foot on the gas in a 113-97 win over the top-seeded Lakers on Thursday, flirting with a triple-double as he notched 39 points (11-of-19 FGs, 12-of-12 FTs), eight rebounds and 12 assists.
The Beard worked extra hard tonight with Russell Westbrook (quad) sitting this one out. Harden also hit five 3s, swiped three steals and blocked one shot for an overall well-rounded line. He's been playing at an insane level since the NBA resumed the 2019-20 season and there's no reason to expect him to slow down as he tries to improve Houston's seeding heading into the playoffs.
